Terms and Conditions of Service

Effective Date: April 2026  ·  Last updated: April 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SpeakerBlog ("the Service"), operated by Dan Södergren trading as Great Marketing Works ("we", "us", "our"), a business registered in the United Kingdom. By registering for or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. The Service

SpeakerBlog provides professional speakers with an AI-powered blog platform. The Service includes automated blog post generation, a speaker profile page, a subdomain hosted on speakerblog.net, and a speaker dashboard for managing your content.

Your SpeakerBlog is built primarily as an SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) tool — content written to be read and indexed by search engines and AI assistants, helping to strengthen the online authority and visibility of your own website and brand. It is not a replacement for your own thought leadership articles, personal writing, or original published work. It runs alongside your existing content, not instead of it.

The Service is subscription-based at £29 per month (or such other price as we notify you of in advance). Beta users may receive a complimentary period as communicated at the time of registration.

2. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate blog posts and other content on your behalf. Think of it like having a marketing intern or ghost writer working in the background: the AI creates content based entirely on the information you provide it, and the quality of its output depends directly on what you give it to work with. Like any good writer, it does the work — but you are the manager, and you remain responsible for the result.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • All AI-generated content is produced automatically and has not been reviewed, verified, or endorsed by us before publication.
  • We accept no responsibility or liability for the accuracy, completeness, legality, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content published through the Service.
  • It is your sole responsibility to review AI-generated content and to ensure it is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for your audience. Any content that does not represent you well to human readers is your responsibility to correct or remove.
  • You are solely responsible for any claims, damages, or losses arising from AI-generated content published on your blog.
  • Any data or information you add to the system — profiles, documents, links, or other settings — is provided at your discretion and remains entirely your responsibility.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be unlawful, harmful, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Your Profile, Links and Branding

You are solely responsible for all information you provide through the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Your profile information, biography, and speaker details.
  • All URLs, links, and external resources added to your profile or blog.
  • Your brand colours, logo, images, and other visual assets.
  • Any documents, articles, or content you upload to inform AI generation.

We accept no responsibility for the accuracy or appropriateness of any links, branding, or profile information you provide. You warrant that you have the right to use all content and materials you submit through the Service.

4. Promotional Activity

As part of the Service, we may conduct limited promotional activity on your behalf, including but not limited to:

  • Sharing your blog posts or profile on our social media channels.
  • Featuring your profile in our marketing materials or communications.
  • Referencing you as a SpeakerBlog user in case studies or promotional content.

By registering for the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your name, profile information, and blog content for these promotional purposes. This promotional activity is provided as an additional benefit of the Service and does not constitute a guarantee of any specific reach, impressions, or outcomes. You may opt out of promotional activity at any time by contacting us.

5. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently close any account at any time, for any reason, without prior notice and without exception. Reasons may include but are not limited to:

  • Breach of these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Publishing content that we deem harmful, misleading, defamatory, or inappropriate.
  • Non-payment of subscription fees.
  • Behaviour that we consider detrimental to the Service, other users, or the reputation of SpeakerBlog.
  • Any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your blog and all associated content may be permanently deleted. We are not obliged to provide a refund for any unused portion of your subscription in the event of termination for breach of these Terms.

6. Subscription, Payment and Cancellation

Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance at £29 per month (or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase). Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused subscription time unless required by applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any original content you submit to the Service. You grant us the licences necessary to operate and promote the Service as described in these Terms. The SpeakerBlog platform, software, design, and branding remain the exclusive property of Dan Södergren trading as Great Marketing Works.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of revenue, business, or reputation.
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
  • Interruption or unavailability of the Service.
  • Unauthorised access to your account or data.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Privacy and Data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to such processing. We will not sell your personal data to third parties.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Content Generation Schedule & Service Expectations

The Service is designed to be plug-and-play once set up — your AI works quietly in the background, publishing content daily without you having to lift a finger. However, a human being does need to be the manager: the AI does what it is given to do, and it is your responsibility to check in on the output and ensure it continues to represent you well. By using the Service you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • Daily publication schedule. The Service is designed to generate and publish one AI-authored blog post per day, typically at or around 6:00 AM (UK time). This schedule is automated and runs in the background without any action required from you.
  • Processing time after changes. When you make any update to your profile, upload documents, add links, or change any settings, the AI system requires up to 24 hours to read, process, and learn from those changes before they are reflected in your content.
  • Temporary pause after updates. Following any change to your account or content settings, the automated blog generation will pause for that day and the following day to allow the system to fully process your updates. Normal daily publication resumes automatically on the third day.
  • Effect of changes on SEO performance. Each time you update your profile, add new material, or change your settings, the AI restarts its content generation process from scratch. This is the reason posts pause — the system is resetting and rebuilding its context. For this reason, we recommend making all significant changes at once rather than in stages, to minimise disruption to your blog's SEO and publishing continuity.
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted publication. Whilst we strive to maintain the daily schedule, we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free content generation. Technical issues, maintenance periods, or AI processing delays may occasionally affect the schedule.
  • Content quality. The quality and relevance of AI-generated content improves the more material you provide through your dashboard. We recommend uploading transcripts, articles, and other source material to help the AI produce content that better reflects your voice and expertise.
